Rust has always been an integral part of the Polkadot ecosystem. It is the foundation of Substrate - the blockchain framework Polkadot and all of its parachains are built upon - and a large portion of the Polkadot community are amazing Rust developers. So it only seemed logical for Polkadot to join Rust Nation.

What is Rust Nation?

Rust Nation ‘23 is the first UK conference dedicated to the Rust language. It will be held at The Brewery, in the heart of London, on the 16th & 17th of February 2023 and will include workshops, keynotes, four speaker tracks, and an evening social event hosted by the Polkadot community.

During the main conference day of Rust Nation ‘23 (February 17th), you’ll have the opportunity to meet with engineers, developers, and other team members from Parity Technologies - the company behind the Substrate blockchain framework. So if you plan on attending the conference, make sure you drop by the Polkadot booth to discuss all things Rust and Web3. You’ll have the opportunity to discover how the teams on Polkadot are pushing the boundaries of Web3, learn more about all the cool stuff being built on this next-gen tech, and find out how you can join the movement for a better web.
